Can someone pls help me with my website

Right i built a site with pro boards recently its a horse riding forum for locals still cannot find it on any web searches hence lack of members today i discovered google site map and have followed instructions and now im stumped have downloaded the sitemap things but have no idea where my public hmtl folder is to upload it to there so still cant get on any sites can some one more techie pls help me???

we are not listed anywhere on web as yet and i think i went wrong somewhere when i first set it up as alot of things we should have we havent like public hmtl folder its even coming up on my computer that i either dont have a server or its too busy i messed up i think??

Your public html folder is the folder that you load all your files to on the server, the same place your index file is loaded to...

and the best way to get into the seach engines is to get links to your site from other sites

google site maps will only get your pages indexed, it wont make them show up in the search engines

if you go by googles rules, there is abserlutly no point in submitting to search engines, as its links that will get you the ranking, and if you have links the seach engines will find you anyway so get as many good complementary links into you site from other sites as you can, then you will start showing in the seach engines
