Re: Digg vs Twitter
I have discussed the same questions in other forums as well. There is not good or bad in e-marketing. Each website or social networking community has it own purpose and can be used accordingly. Before starting or setting up a Social Media campaign, few things should be discussed first. It is not necessary to hire any SMM consultant. It can be taken care by yourself. Identifying and selecting the target market is the most important part for setting up your SMM. Once the specific niche is identified, you can select a tool (facebook, muspace, twitter) to reach and communicate with your audience. Selection of such tools totally depends on your target audience. If your target market can’t be catered through using these conventional channels, you can go for other unconventional and different channels over the internet. At the end of the day, objective of SMM is to communicate with your niche and if you are not communicating to the, there is no need for spending resources on SMM.ABHISHEK.WEBGAIN wrote:Which is better....

I think both are very effective to use in driving traffic to your site. We don't need to compare them, we must use them.. LOL!

Re: Digg vs Twitter
I think the comparison can't be done as both of these work differently...while Twitter can bring in lot of traffic directly to your website which is more targetted, digg can spread your website to the relevant readers and thus help in getting the traffic indirectly...

Re: Digg vs Twitter
Both are very effective sites but twitter is the social networking website and digg is the social bookmarking website. Digg gives do follow link but twitter not.

Re: Digg vs Twitter
So the only real-time Twitter search is popular because of. Hope all search engines in future will focus on real-time results. Of course, at present, almost all search engines are focused on real-time search. How to reach or Twitter they will dominate, we have to see. In the future we provide real-time search for the best results among all search engines would see many wars.
