PR is related to the number and quality of backlinks.
As a separate factor, having keywords in the domain can help in where you appear in search results (SERPs).

The unique name that identifies an Internet site. Domain Names always have 2 or more parts, separated by dots. The part on the left is the most specific, and the part on the right is the most general. A given machine may have more than one Domain Name but a given Domain Name points to only one machine.

Good quality backlinks is a very valuable links in a domain. PR mainly depends on this. Having quality content will draw a good traffic for your domain.

I think that having keywords in a domain name that is aged and having high Quality backlinks are the bomb.

Niche websites always use keywords in their domain names because the domain names are the ones that appear in the SERP's . . .

Having the keyword in the domain name never hurts. Also, if you're acquiring a domain, the older the name the better.
