indexing of my site
I have recently had my site registered in Google, well the index page at least, is there a reason why when my home page was indexed, the rest of my site wasn't

There are several stages to Google's indexing processes and algo.
Sometimes the index can be listed, but the other pages aren't until the SE bots get a chance to come back a dig a little deeper into the site. This is assuming the navigation makes sense to the crawlers and they are able to easily find their way through your pages.
Sometimes the index will even get indexed without a title and description at first. Also, sometimes newly indexed sites pop in and out of the index while it's first new and getting introduced to an SE.
