Why can't i get into the DMOZ?

I have tried for 2 years to get my sites into the dmoz but still, no replies to the places that I see the same kind of sites. Is it because no one is moderating those categories?

I even tried to become a moderator but have been denied three freaking times! I have a freaking masters in English Writing damn it! LOL

Well, mastery of the English language is a good thing if you're applying to an English category for writing grammatically correct descriptions, but how does that translate into writing guidelines compliant titles and descriptions and deciding which sites actually belong in the category or elsewhere? It's not as easy or obvious as one would think.
