301 Redirects and PR effects on domain names

I have a PR3 domain but need to change it. If I purchase a new domain with a PR0 and use a 301 redirect will the new domain show as a PR3?

No this does not work like this. Every domain has to work on its own PR and PR is never redirected, its the traffic that is redirected.
