Yes
Very much so...especially if you are have a shiny new website. Indexing can take a very long time from major engines, smaller ones are often much faster (under 1 month typically). This has 2 benefits. It does attract a small amount of traffic that you would not have received had you not submitted...and it also creates and opportunity for backlinks.
Traffic and backlinks will result in people finding your site quicker...and will also add another channel for the bigger search engines to find you.
Low hanging fruit...as some may say.
Best of luck!

you can submit to search engines. But the best advice is to just let them find you.

I don't think that indexing can take you a very long time in my experience it took only a day or hours to index your site's pages that if you are consistent with letting the search engine know that you have an update in your site.homeexec wrote:Very much so...especially if you are have a shiny new website. The new mantra today is the local search engine. Trade pundits agree that search engines must go local to stay relevant. In India, local search engines have already taken up the challenge. They range from the general to the specialized ones.
