KEI refers to the # of times a keyword has appeared in Wordtracker’s data compared with the number of competing pages.

The higher the KEI, the more popular your keyword phrases are, and the less competition they have.

Through KEI, you will know the status of your keyword being use in optimizing your site.

At some point, Wordtracker useful as well. However, for me I prefer to use Google Adwords. It provides better keyword suggestion that you can use for your site.
