How Low directory site can effect a site ranking?

If i am having a site which Google page rank is 0 but alexa rank is good, if i submit my website link to a directory which Google rank is 0 just only because of generating a back link would it effect my site's alexa ranking.

Alexa rank is purely depends on traffic. It has no direct relation with number of backlinks. If you want to increase traffic you should create more backlinks. So in a long run it will improve your alexa rank.

Anyway it is always better having more backlinks.

Alexa rank is depend on total traffic on website. backlinks does not metter in this case. you need to get some traffic so that your Alexa ranked automatically increased.

though this links came from low quality sites, they can still help on your rankings, because, every 2 or 3 months they can update their PR and soon they will be a quality website,.....

and pages you have to submit to a quality backlink is created to be fast, efficient, and durable.

a that happen to me I keep on submiting my site to dmoz and I cant see my site in there.
