Does change in the template of blog effects it ranking?

Hello guys,

I have recently changed the template and overall design of my blog. Does this change will effect the ranking of my blog??

Some people says yes other says not much... Please do suggest the ways too how i can retain its SEO values.

the answer is YES

site redesign means that the content on the page will likely change. You will likely not have the exact same words appear on each of your new pages in the exact same order and position on the page as they appeared on the old pages. Since the content on your pages will be changing they will not rank in the same positions for the same terms as before.

Not at all. Just make sure you do optimize the new template with how you optimized the previous one.

Anyway, rankings is all about links, links and links.

Well if you just change template then never mind it'll be effective but very less but if you change Content of your site then you'll lost your major ranking for sure
