for dynamic sites with long url strings or many pages a site map is a good idea. use descriptive text along with keyword rich anchor text on your site map page to direct search engines to your most popular and content rich pages.
Google offers sitemaps: http://google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/d ... about.html
So does Yahoo: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/

once a search engine has your pages indexed you will want to start building links to those pages from external sites with popular content. <--Quantity is not as important as quality when it comes to links--> try to get into DMOZ and other business directories first, then offer link swap or articles, or some other tools people can link to on your site.
if you take these steps i would not be surprised if you see an increase in SERP ranking and traffic.

It is much debated whether Google issues Link penalties or filters associated with a large number of inbound links at once. If the links all come from the same host or IP you could be filtered heavily. If you have many links to sites that are also linking to you there could also be some sort of filtering involved. It is hard to say what exactly is considered too much or too many, but I know that on sites I have built too many reciprocal links at once will sandbox it forsure. That means little or no Google traffic for 3-6 months atleast. I believe it is better to be safe then sorry. Heavily cross-linking your own websites will also set off this filter in Google in my opinion.ammon wrote:Why shouldn't you build too many BL too fast?
I do not know forsure if there is truth to the filtering, but I get better results on sites that I build links to on a schedule rather than several bulk campaigns.
