Hi all,
I am a total newbie to website optimization and if possible would like to be told how to go about sorting my website out to achieve higher rankings. I have paid a company to do this for me but i am still low. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks all. Chris www.soldreampropertymanagement.com

Higher ranking will not come from one to another day.It takes a time.
You need to build links. optimize your page, submit your sites to directories, soc. bookmarking sites, get one way link from relevant websites etc...
It is long trip but give always good results.

Hi Deny, thanks for that. I have added my site to as many othersites a si can, but it still isnt coming up on search engines unless i pay for clicks with Google and Yahoo which i do. Can you have a look at my site and give me pointers of what im doing wrong with the key words or title etc.. please. Cheers, Chris

start reading and formulating your optimization strategies, i suggest to come up with good title, description and other helpful meta tags...

I had my title as "A selection of holiday rentals throughout the Costa Blanca", but when i asked a company to sort my site out they asked me to change it to"Holiday rentals costa blanca, spanish apartments, costa blanca apartments", so you can see i am confussed by what people say as a good title? any advice

2.Research keywords and make list of keywords releted to your site or product.
3.Write a good discription about your product and services.
4.Use your most important keyword in title tag.
5.Optimize meta tag.
6.Search engine submission.
7.Directory submission.
8.LinkExchange etc.
