The ideal CTR? 100%!

Just that anything above 3 - 4% is pure fiction these days. Currently, the average CTR of a banner is 0.2 - 0.3%. So to reformulate, an ideal and achievable CTR is about 2%.

Not true, I have 6% CTR on Google Adwords on some longtail keyphrases. I suspect part of the reason for that is that my keyword selection and ad copy is highly relevant to the search phrase. This means that our ad is displayed above organic search results and most of the organic search results are random articles from the web and not highly targeted pages like we are offering.
If you have a good Adwords manager they can help you achieve high CTR by targeting selective longtail phrases that are suited to your product or service. I would recommend this guy

Well, I have seen more than 6% CTR for text undelining site Kontera. You have to change the color of the underlining to the color of other html links in your site.

If some one asks you like that just tell them I maintain ctr with more than 1%. for your campaign.ctr should not be less than 1% if it does then your ad is not doing good.

CTR-It's depend upon the visitors traffic and activities of their mouse on your page, if the information for what come across your website is not useful then he/she will bounce from website through adsense and this the gr8 deal with adsense CTR(from my point of view CTR is 10-25 % is good)

The average click-through rate on AdWords paid search ads is about 2%. Accordingly, anything over 2% can be considered an above average CTR.
