We have run the Google ads campaign for our client?. If anyone knows broad match keywords effective for quality lead generations?. Expert, please share your experience with us?.

Honestly, it varies immensely from industry to industry. Can you give me an example of what you had in mind? We had a client who did broad match and wiped out a budget in no time before they ended up working with us.

Honestly, that might be way too broad of a match, you could likely see the same thing as our other client where the budget was demolished in no time with unqualified leads. Whereabouts does your client operate geographically?

Yeah I think that works then. Obviously the key is to test the campaign itself and see where conversions are being driven and then cut the losing keywords.

Now we have added broad match keywords in our Google ads campaign. It works well and generated lots of leads and unfortunately, it is not potential leads. We get only 30% to 40% of quality leads.

Well, It totally depends on your niche whether broad match keyword linking will work for you or not, I work in a digital marketing agency in Los Angeles I have been using broad match keywords only for those clients where I am confident that it will work best for me, You can try broad match keywords and run an ad for a particular period of time and then see if it works for you or not, If not then you can always change the strategy.

No, broad match keywords are not effective for quality lead generation because it leads to junk traffic. Irrelevant traffic will cost you money only and no returns. It is better to use phrase match keywords for more traffic and exact match keywords for to the point traffic. Tighten your campaigns with negative keywords. It's your money. Don't waste it.
