Google Adwords on Content Sites?

Post by Jrafique »

I want to get your professional views regarding Adwords Campaign Issue. I have been running different adwords campaigns on search as well as on content sites. Getting good clicks from content sites at low CPC. What are your views regarding running campaign on google adwords content sites? Recommend or not?

In my opinion you should always test. Sometimes content campaigns bring more ROI than search. Content game is all about targeting, not keywords

Run a few tests. Use different pages having different keywords. Always test out the campaigns to see which one is the best. A lot of trial and error is needed before you find a campaign that actually works.

It boils down to research and actual experience. Your Adwords campaign should match your target keywords and the competition that goes along with it.

Adword campaigns give erratic results. It takes a lot of time and money to figure out what works for you. Managing your account strategically holds the key. You can also look for improving your organic listing.

Note that you shouldn't make the mistake of writing very catchy ad because this will only succeed in bringing lots of non converting visitors and end up draining your money.

As others said you should try both networks for your campaign. When you use content network try to focus on the right related sites, placements and use general keyword sets for each ad group.
