I'm not sure whether I read this article in an email, Google Adwords blog, or in forums. Looks like this it's helpful for the advertisers to earn more, but I haven't try it yet.

I've found that my ROI increased when targeting just a few keywords with minimum bids.

google had some tests with broad match already and many advertisers stopped using broad match at all.

If you'll use this new option, the trafic will be cheaper, but the quality will be exactly like from content network, not so targeted.

google needs more money

are there any updates on this, how its working or anything like that?

Seems to me that this could be used again us, instead of for us.

That's innovative action by Google. They always come up with new features.
