Ad units always make more money than link units this is because a link ad is bought by a group of advertisers whereas an ad unit ad is bought by a single advertiser.

I' go for ad unit, since it can give you high CTR hence can give you high conversion compare to link unit.

Ad units still make more money than the units link, it is because a link ad purchased by a group of advertisers as an ad unit ad purchased by a single advertiser.

Text ads then link units convert best for me. Link units require 2 clicks as you know. But it's nice how you can put them in there and many people don't think of them as "ads" because they don't really "get it" which is good.

Yes, thank you. I think that's very practical advice. I've never really experimented with the ads, but it's time to try. I'll start with just a change or two so I can clearly see what works and what does not. And I'll take good notes.
