Today I submitted my site to DMOZ.

How long does it take to be approved?

Every one say that Dmoz inclusion is more important to
high SERP in Google. Is it correct?

I appreciate expert openion.

It's depend on your luck.

I didn't think so. You can get high SERP in google for any keyword without DMOZ listing.

Dmoz says it will take weeks to months before your site is indexed. They mentioned on their site I believe that if its not indexed within 3 weeks you can submit again.

You could try submitting your site at the start of the month, wait it out check back at the end of the month and then see if you got listed, if not resubmit.

You should do a seach for your site on all major search engines as well to make sure its there.

There are a lot of ways to achieve higher rankings. Don't just concentrate on submitting to DMOZ.
