Friends,
I don't feel the the PR of a site increasing tremendously with the site submission process. I have already submitted my site to major directories, almost to 400-500, but couldn't find any increment in the PageRank of my site.

So, can i suggest me how can i increase the PR of my site in an easier and faster manner?

Have you submit your website to high PR directory and build more quality and targeted back links to your site. and Search also for relevant blogs with "dollow" and participate in them.

I bet those directories were either not good, haven't approved your link or something else.

I am just wondering why you give so much stress in PR instead you should be stressing out gaining traffic. PR is just one notion.

If you really want PR- Try High PR forums, blogs, articles, Social portals who follows dofollow :) But PR is something never guaranteed. Its up to Google.

Good luck!

You just need to wait for a PR update and directory submissions will definitely give you PR1-3. Beyond that you have to go for other link building techniques as well.
