Can you have a successful website without submiting your website to directories?

Your site can be successful without submitting it to your directories. It depends on what linking strategies do you want to do your site. Directories is essential to your site because it will help boost traffic and as well to get indexed in the major search engine.

I don't think that a site will be success without directoey submission bcoz it it boost up site in terms of keywords ranking as well as bring trafic.Linking strategies is also important to go get success.

When I get a new domain I create a site that is good enought to get approved and then use a service to submit to directories

when I use it on a established domain thats in the top 20 for my keywords its usally enought to move up a few spots as you get closer to #1 each spot moved up gets more dificult
