The Missing Links...

..how could a page lose 120 links on MSN search...over night?...any Ideas??...let me know...thanks.

Did you pages actually disappear from MSN or are you using a link check on MSN to see how many links you have? If you are using a link check tool then most likely it is a piece of junk. Most of the time you are seeing higher link numbers than the actual number on MSN. If your pages just disappeared, then MSN possibly is doing updates and you site got temporarily booted off during the update. If so, it should be picked back up in a little bit.

The "spam filter" that has affected so many sites so that you may lost your links.create sitemap for your home page and modify the content as per the MSN suggestion

In MSN, you can also increase links with your website pages

probably its some msn update and your link get back after some time. also which tools u checking. sometime its tool issue.

Yeah, sometimes the results fluctuate depending on which tool you're using or if the database is being updated.

Let us know when this happened? I mean is it just recent or long time ago? Losing so many pages doesn't mean it wont be coming back. Maybe MSN has been updating when you checked it. I don't know. We must very sure on our answers. Thanks.

Maybe MSN have their updates.. Wait and recheck it if the backlinks are totally lost.

This may be because of MSN is updating your site for ranking, it always happens to the site when it is under going updation.

maybe your links has an issue to internal error 500

it might occur due to the updating issue. may be MSN is updating the database and the other way is, it might be possible due to any spam filters...
