I've noticed that when I use certain specifics keywords my website appears high in yahoo's search engine. Yet when I use those SAME keywords doesn't help me with MSN or google. Another interesting thing is that when I type in my url it shows up in MSN and yahoo (MSN was the first one to pick it up shortly after my site was published in mid July, 2007) but it does NOT show up in any google searches. Finally I signed up for google adsense a few days ago. I've got ads on my site but thus far I'm still not found by google. I did an alexa search for my site from time to time, it does show up there and I'm glad for that.
I read that google values information from yahoo and that if a site is noticed by yahoo it increases the chances that google will also index the site. I want to increase the traffic to my website. Why the inconsistency between yahoo, google and MSN?

Nothing unusual about that. Search engines have different algorithms that's why they give out varied results.

Every search engine has it's own algorithm.
