Yahoo! Messenger is an advertisement-supported instant messaging client and associated protocol provided by Yahoo!. Yahoo! Messenger is provided free of charge and can be downloaded and used with a generic "Yahoo! ID" which also allows access to other Yahoo! services, such as Yahoo! Mail, where users can be automatically notified when they receive new email. Yahoo! also offers PC-PC, PC-Phone and Phone-to-PC service, file transfers, webcam hosting, text messaging service, and chat rooms in various categories.

YM is one of my favorite IM. Second is Gtalk and Skype.

YM is the only messenger I use, but I just hate the recent version of it. I still prefer the classic interface.

yahoo messenger is my primary messenger that I use. I am very happy with it and have used it since the 1990's

I used MSN for most of the time, but I personally prefer yahoo messenger better.
But since most of my friends are using MSN, so I have to keep in touch.

Yahoo Messenger is most commonly used by users. For business/corporate, we prefer ICQ or Skype.

Yahoo messenger is the only messenger I used and i find it the best messenger i ever used.

I love yahoo messenger too, especially its SMS feature. I can send messages to my friends even if they are offline.

Yahoo messenger is great. I love the service. Especially when you have to call your friends through online. My aunt is using this to communicate with her relatives. Because it's cheaper this than to call using phone.
