Yahoo Top Search Performer On Mobile Web

Gomez, Inc. and dotMobi have joined together to rate mobile sites across several verticals according to how well they perform on the mobile internet.The criteria and ranking methodology used included the following benchmarks: Discoverability,Readiness,AvailabilityResponse timeConsistency.
The overall “winner” was Yahoo.

i never use the yahoo on my cell phone i cant say anything about it but i play online game at yahoo from my pc it is best.

I am astonished to hear this result. Yahoo is taking lot of measures to improve their market share. Lets wait and see.

Well Google is just a search engine but yahoo also have lot of other good services too , So i am not surprise

Yahoo, clearly, clocks behind Google and that is why it focuses more on additional services to try to counter it somewhat. Google is also directing a lot of resources towards mobile searches.

Yahoo is not at the pole position but yes it is trying really hard to reach there. I dont see it happening in the near future though.
