How do I stop Yahoo from opening a new window?
Every time that I do a search with Yahoo it opens a new window. I want it to just do the search and stay in the same windows.
How can I make it work this way. It works fine on my home computer, so I know its possible. But I can't find any settings for Yahoo search that make it now open a new window.

Moving Up
I originally started with netscape. Then I had to change to internet explorer. Now I too have been using firefox for a long long time and am quite happy with it.
Internet explorer was much to trashy with hackers that I was forced to go on. Now I would hate to to have to move from firefox. But it seems firefox is getting to be too popular.
I'm always on the search for easier and faster surfing, so I've got to try chrome ( as much as I hate to).

Try fixing your settings on your tool bar which is located above your browser page.AS-9 wrote:Go to Options (located next to search button) --> Display & Layout --> Open results in new window: --> No
That should do it!

All browsers have this option
All browsers have this option. Look for tools and set them to your preferences. As for Mozilla it's really a good browser but accelerators of IE 8 are great too.
