Normally we target 5 to 6 keywords for a site. I think many users does the same

It greatly varies with the number of pages you have offer your website. If you have a website that sells products, you may have a separate page for every product and target the related keywords separately. This varies the total number of keywords for the entire site, though if you are considering the number of keywords to target for a particular page, then 5-6 should be enough.

According to my opinion add to keywords according web page such as if you have page seo then you should have to target SEO key-phrase and if you target web design page then you target web designing related keywords.

Well it is totally depend on your site. If you have maximum number of pages than you can target each and every page with 5 to 7 keywords.

It depends upon the search engine updates as well as now Google penalizes those sites who uses a large no of the keywords.It also depends upon the niche of your website as If you work for a cheap self storage companies then it may not be more than 3-4 in a page.

Normally the length of the keywords is 120 with space. It include around 6 to 7 keyword as a meta keyword. But this is not fix, you can change it, if you want.

i think i can use 3-4 keywords for one page.total no. of keywords depends on total page the site.
