Keyword Density Check
What is the optimum density for keywords (or key phrase)?!
Do search engines penalize keyword density that is to high? What would be the limit?!
Are they any good tools for analyzing the keyword density of a web site?
I found so far:
http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.html
http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/keyword-density/
http://www.sitesubmit.ca/modules.php?na ... rd_Density

keyword density
It may sounds stupid, but how do I increase the keyword density? I've very carefully chosen the keywords and meta tags of this site/signature/ and its density appears to be <1! At other hand, a site, which I just draw for a couple of hours and is way content poor has density of ~2!
Is there any connection with the descriptions used for back links?
thanks

Re: Keyword Density Check
I have seen results at 5-7%. I think its higher than people think. Just need to provide varied version of the key words in different phrases. Tags and large text is also beneficial.

Re: Keyword Density Check
I think the Sitesubmit website is not working. We check the keyword density manually

Re: Keyword Density Check
Yes, keyword density should be 2-3%, otherwise it would be spamming content. https://moz.com/community/users/4422425
