"IT" as a keyword

Hi guys,
We are an IT company but unfortunately IT seems to get categorised at it and therefore is a bit hit and miss as a keyword.
Has anyone else noticed that and/or has any suggestions?

Be specific. IT may pertain to another term. Target the exact word to avoid confusion and to gain unique visitors.

You should target specific keywords. Since you're making a site for an IT company, keywords like "IT services," "affordable IT services," "hire IT company," etc. would be great.

Why not add other relevant words such as "Services" or spelling out the entire words "Information Technology"?

Try to combine the acronym "IT" into "services" or "outsourcing company"

Don't use IT word alone, use the relevant keywords like "IT Services", "Hire IT Solutions" etc.
