These tools should help you out... try overture and wordtracker or digital point tools the first and you can experiment with the rest as much as you want.

List of Keywords Tools

There is also a keyword tool here at Submit Express like Wordtracker:

All the footer links point at the homepage, and I didnt see one that actually took me to another page on your site or externally. If you want to keep the links as is, maybe you should make the font size bigger or cut down on the amount you have. It's ok to use a few links with good anchor text linked to other pages of your site internally, but SE's will ignore font that is too small usually.

Bigger font and less links would be best IMO.

To find out how popular a word is you can use free keyword search tools like www.wordpot.com

It will tell you how many searches for that keyword are done and will also offer you suggestions on other keywords that are similar.

Some people pay to use sites like wordtracker but you can get just as good information for free.

Try using Nichebot which is free to use and very comphrensive.

However,I'll recommend investing some money for a Keyword Research Software that i myself use that's way more powerful. You can check it out at my blog link below under the product reviews section.

You need to consider two factors to find out:

1.The R/S ratio which is the ratio of Search Results(Competitiors) to Searches Made.

2.The KEI(Keyword Effectiveness Index).

Ideally, keywords with good searches and profitable are those with high KEI, and Low R/S ratios. Etc. Satellite TV PC (KEI: 2,974,201.50, R/S: 0.00, 9907 searches!)

This is how you can make a big profit out of low competition, but high paying keyword niches!

you may also try the yahoo buzz , google trends, google zeitgeist and MSN search insiders. It shows a percentage of users searching for the specific keywords. Or you check this link http://www.antezeta.com/top-keyword-search-trends.html

Try to find the monthly search volume of the keyword through various tools like overture, wordtracker, VRE toolbar. and other tools. The keyword which represents the highest monthly search volume has been searched most by people.
