For example:
If I want to build a site to sale flowers and choose the keywords like "buy flower". Is that better for me to choose a domain name like "buy-flower.com" than "buyflower.com".

I think buyflower.com is better than buy-flower.com because it's easy for your customers to remember your domain name. But, using a keyword suggestion tool you can decide which keywords you have to use for your site. According to those keywords you have to decide which should be the best domain name for your site.

You really want to make your domain names inviting, interesting, and along the lines the way people talk. No one says "buy flower", they say "buy flowers", so buy-flowers.com or buyflowers.com, but not buyflower.
