"Keywords Everywhere" is best tool which gives you exact search volume, CPC, Competition even for bulk keywords.
Even sometimes I found its better than Google Keyword Planner. Its actually plugin for Chrome and Forefox, so you must install for quick access.

I can't tell you which research tool is best because I've used the majority of them and found the keyword(s) I was looking for in each application. I can state that the most popular research tools are: Google keyword planner followed by Semrush. Keyword tool, Spyfu and Serpstat are other research tools to utilize, however, they are just not as popular.
