site:www.yourdomain.com can help you check subdomains if it is alreaady indexed in search engines..

Hi ben,
I say it will show only the links of the site but not the subdomain, but not sure.
Subdomains are registered, and may not always be running on the same server. DNS zone files tell which IP addresses are mapped to the domain.
If the domain is a wildcard, then you could use a script to parse through the apache configuration files to determine how many subdomains existed.
