Different domains same IP address

How is it possible that the three domains have the same IP address ...
All three domains I have registered on behalf of different clients, with the same providers at different times ...
When I checked some web tools I accidentally discovered that all three domains come from the same IP address ...
How is it possible ...
Is the provider actually reseller ???...
He represents to me as the agent of a hosting company ...
Is that legal???...

check all three domains server status. if its same than it be possible.

Yes many time it is seen that multiple domain have the same IP.It is either for the same business having register for the different site domain pointing towards the site or it will be done by web hosting company.

yes friend it is possible that different domain name have same IP address but its issue mainly occurs when you have hosted your all domains in a singles server. because each server have particular IP So for different IP you can contact your server hosting provider company....!!
