I have heard that you can first register at namecheap and then host at another site.I would like to register with namecheap and then host with ipage.is that possible.if yes then what are the formalities required.will it take a long time to get approved by ipage
etc please tell in detail.Are there any disadvantages by first registering at name cheap if yes then please tell.

Before you go with any cheap hosting service provider you first see what people say about this company service and support. If you think it is satisfactory then go with them otherwise not that i will recommend you.

Most people will recommend that you purchase your domain name and hosting from separate sources. Setting up hosting should be pretty quick, but as the previous poster said - look into the hosting company's reputation first.
