Adwords Domains - How to buy if not on site?

There are a few domains that I would like to buy. I would probably pay up to $1,000 for them like http://www.superherocostumes.com/

They are just google adsense domains and I can't believe they would make much money. I have tried contacting them through whois but have no luck. Any Ideas?
