Mature domains will always have one over on a new domain for so many reasons.

Yes, precisely, because aged sites can be indexed by SEs, unless it was banned.

To get good PageRank backlinks are very important.

It is not hard to get high page rank. Getting backlinks with high page rank is the important factor of Google

site's age is really important... the old your site is,, the better to optimize it... you can work out any old sites that's banned.. just contact the SE where it is banned and request for reinclusion...

to have a Higher PR, you have to gather more backlinks...most likely from high PR sites...

Both age and backlinks matter. If the site is over a year old, backlinks probably matter much more than age. It also matters how long a site has had its backlinks for.
