You need to find out how many anchor text links your top competitors have and then decide if your willing to get more than them or pay some one to do this for you.
If not then you need to pick some easier keywords to optimize your site for but make sure the expected traffic is worth your time too.
Another thing you need to think about when picking keywords is which keywords are converting for your competitors and pick keywords this revised worthy list versus just picking random related keywords.

That sounds familiar to my situation.
I have http://www.reklamainternete.projektas.lt. With "SEO reklama internete" keywords I am listed in the first place by Yahoo! But what kind of sane human being would write those into SE?
That is the main marketing mistake. Suggestion would be to optimize according to the customer, not to your self
And of course, page should be with good content, something that retains him (e.g. some of my friends uses 20 free SMS per day for every IP). That is a quite good solution. And its really cheap comparing with the other ones.

If you are getting more traffic, and not getting more conversions you should try testing everything. Different color schemes, moving text and images around, etc.
Sometimes the smallest things make the difference. Test one thing at a time in order to verify if any change you make had a positive or negative effect.
